KING AND QUEENS
CHALLENGE
International challenge gathering the world’s two greatest beach volleyball powers. Historical rivals, kings and queens from both countries have played against each other 12 times on the famous Ipanema beach in Rio de Janeiro. Results: high technical level, lots of thrills, BRA 8 x 4 USA and an average of 18 million TV viewers per event (TV Globo live broadcast).

The most memorable moment of my of my brief career in beach volleyball undoubtedly was the "Kings Challenge". I had the opportunity to play in the ‘backyard of my house’, against my biggest idol in the sport (Karch Kiraly), and moreover, win it! Without the skill and daring of Intersport, this great event would not exist, and certainly something would be missing for me. Thanks, Intersport , for making my dream come true!
